Supporting Conscious Leadership in Service of People & Planet
Leadership and Team Development Facilitator | Experiential Keynote Speaker | Certified Enneagram Guide
Leaders, teams, and communities are navigating more pressure and complexity than ever:
Personal Challenges
Chronic stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue
Reactivity and overwhelm during moments of pressure
Difficulty staying grounded or thinking clearly in complexity
Relational Challenges
Conflict that escalates or shuts people down
Communication breakdowns in tense moments
Trust erosion, avoidance, or loss of psychological safety
Organizational Challenges
Cultures shaped by reactivity, fear, or exhaustion
Underutilized creativity and collaboration
Meetings and interactions that drain energy instead of facilitate creativity
“Working with Ben has helped our team to be more authentic, collaborative, and deliberate. We have opened up communication and strengthened trust, and we are able to look at bigger opportunities with greater clarity. I would recommend this work to any leadership team that wants to create a culture where collaboration, accountability, and growth extend across their enterprise.”
— Patricia Ieraci, VP Retail (North America), Anchor Hocking
“My team recently participated in a team development workshop with Ben Campbell, and it was transformative. The session gave each of us a deeper understanding of ourselves and the strengths we bring to the team. People were laughing, sharing ideas, and feeling safe to connect in a new way. I highly recommend Ben for any team or leader who wants to strengthen collaboration and bring out the best in their people.”
— Tracey Poffenroth Prato, Director of Rehabilitation Services, Holy Cross Medical Center
Why invest in leadership and culture development? The research is clear:
Replacing an employee typically costs 1.5-2x their annual salary in lost productivity and the cost of recruitment and onboarding (Society for Human Resource Management)
Disengaged employees cost organizations an average of 34% of their annual salary in lost productivity and disengagement is associated with 43% higher turnover (Gallup).
Companies recognized as top places to work outperform the broader market by 3x or more and generate 8-9x higher revenue per employee (Great Place to Work).
In 2025, nearly 85% of workers reported experiencing burnout or exhaustion, and 47% were forced to take time off for mental health issues (Wellhub)
Job stress is significantly correlated with turnover intention, with interpersonal relationship stress at work being the strongest predictor of turnover (Frontiers in Psychology)
Our Vision and Approach
We believe that all organizations are a force for good, and that work can and should be inherently purpose-driven.
Unfortunately, employee engagement is at an all-time low. According to Gallup’s 2024 research, over 80% of people worldwide report being disengaged at work, and 70% of people rank time spent with their boss as the worst time of their day.
But it doesn’t have to be this way! There are better ways of working that not only support an organization’s bottom line, but also transform our workplaces into opportunities for living a meaningful life and doing good for our communities and our planet.
We use three primary frameworks to serve this vision: Conscious Leadership, The Awakened Company Model, and the Enneagram. We also use a nature-informed approach wherever possible. You can read more about these frameworks using the dropdown menu on this page.

Conscious Leadership (developed by the XCHANGE Approach) defines leadership not as our title, rank, or role, but instead as the influence that all of us have--on ourselves and on others. Conscious leadership is about becoming aware of that influence, and then developing the ability to be more intentional and creative in how we use it—starting with how we influence ourselves!
Through experiential learning, practical neuroscience, mindfulness, and interactive reflection, Conscious Leadership reveals how our influence shapes relationships, decisions, and environments--whether we’re aware of it or not. Sessions invite each person to reflect on who they are at their best, who they are under pressure, and what becomes possible when we cultivate the ability to be our best selves in the moments that matter most.

The Awakened Company model is a culture-first approach to consulting that focuses on developing robust Vision, Values, and Strategy. TAC is supported by the overwhelming evidence that companies who focus on a combination of both culture and finance outperform finance-focused companies by a factor of 3:1.
Ben Campbell Co is a member of the Awakened Company Collective, an international team of leaders and consultants trained in this transformative approach to business.

The Enneagram is a useful tool for developing two of the most important qualities for successful teams: self-awareness and strong relationships. Researchers have shown that companies with higher percentages of self-aware employees consistently outperform those with lower percentages. At an individual level, higher self-awareness is also linked to greater job satisfaction and lower stress. Relationships are also key: an employee’s productivity and longevity with their company is directly determined by their relationships to their supervisor and colleagues. Strong rapport among team members has an exponential effect on the team’s effectiveness, since each person supports each other’s gifts.
Ben is a global leader in the Enneagram field, with ten years’ experience leading workshops, online training programs, and presenting at international conferences.

There is enormous evidence that humans perform better when they have regular connection with nature. Stress goes down, productivity goes up, and overall wellbeing improves (physically, emotionally, and mentally). A “nature-informed” approach might be anything from encouraging your team to take outdoor walks, to introducing more biophilic design to your office spaces, to multi-day leadership retreats in nature-adjacent settings. We prefer to work with organizations who value conservation and earth stewardship, as we believe that a reciprocal relationship with the Earth carries enormous benefits for all involved.
Return on Investment Summary
A conservative 1–2% reduction in turnover and 5–10% improvement in engagement produces an estimated value of $500–$1,000 per employee per year in (1) reduced recruiting and onboarding costs and (2) increased discretionary effort and productivity.
A 5–10% improvement in leadership effectiveness produces an estimated value of $1,000–$2,500 per employee per year through better decisions and faster execution.
Reduced conflict and stress-related productivity loss can produce an estimated value of $250–$500 per employee per year in lower absenteeism and less time lost to unresolved tension.
A 2–5% improvement in collaboration and culture metrics and produce an estimated value of $500–$1,000 per employee per year due to better cross-functional execution and increased innovation and problem-solving.
Estimates based on research from Gallup, LinkedIn, and HR Cloud.
